Who We Are
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Ginni Chase Fair, a seasoned educator and dance mom, Creative Arts and Talent Studio was born out of a desire to fill the opportunity gap that exists in arts education. From the very beginning, CATS has remained dedicated to providing high-quality performing arts instruction and opportunity for all, while cultivating a safe, positive studio culture with a focus on family connection and prioritizing each individual dancer.

In January 2024, Creative Arts and Talent Studio began to operate under the direction of new owner, Ashley Rigsby - a former dancer turned dance instructor turned dance mom - who, as a parent, chose CATS for her young dancers in 2020 almost entirely based on the mission and values of CATS.

While studio leadership has changed, our values have not: We are as committed as ever to providing high-quality performing arts instruction and filling the opportunity gap that exists in arts education in a positive environment, building relationships and connections within our dance family and community, and ensuring that our dancers' well-being remains at the forefront of everything we do. We are committed to providing each student with the best possible dance experience that will allow them to excel and reach their greatest potential. We believe this can be achieved by providing a balance between fun, hard work, and excellence, and that the most important ingredient for teaching is building self-esteem and self-confidence through praise, encouragement, and discipline. By providing quality dance instruction in an atmosphere of nurturing, encouragement, innovation, professionalism, mutual respect, and fun, we believe our dancers will excel and reach their fullest potential.

Studio Culture
At Creative Arts and Talent Studio, we have a continued focus on cultivating a studio culture that is inclusive and positive.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any words, behaviors, or actions that are contrary to our belief that the dance studio should be an uplifting, nurturing, and positive environment for all who enter our doors.

We hold our staff, our dancers and family members, and all other guests and visitors to conduct expectations that align with our goal of Creative Arts and Talent Studio serving as a light in our community.
CATS dancers and families can expect that all faculty and staff will respect the well-being of all dancers, nurturing their growth and self-esteem as unique individuals. Because of this expectation, dancers and families should be assured that conversation, correction, and feedback will be given in such a way that dancers feel both encouraged and challenged.

We believe that quality dance training should be taught in a positive learning environment where creativity, dedication, and self-esteem develop while emphasizing strong technical skills in an enjoyable, structured atmosphere. We are dedicated to the needs of each individual student and strive to ensure that they have the best possible dance experience while building confidence, self-esteem, character, respect for self and others, and encouraging talent through a wonderful dance experience.

We teach young learners to follow their dreams, believe in themselves, work to their full potential, and that, through hard work and determination, they can reach their goals. We are dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and guiding each student to help nurture in each dancer a joy and passion for dance and the performing arts.
